Using John Shea's book, Starlight, we will explore the spiritual implications of the stories of Christmas, such as the angel’s visit with Mary; the gospel narratives of the birth of Jesus; and the meaning of the journey of the Magi. We will also gain a renewed appreciation for the deeper spiritual meanings underlying our own Christmas customs and traditions of the Christmas tree, gift-giving, and Christmas family dinner. Facilitated by John Fassnacht.
