Show Notes

Regan Gruber Moffitt, Vice President of Community Investments, St. David's Foundation, led a conversation about shifting from a focus on health to one of health equity.

In the city of Austin, wide disparities in health status, disease prevalence, and mortality exist based on race, ethnicity, gender, and geography. Visionary leaders of St. David’s Episcopal Church met the need for better access to healthcare in Austin with the creation of a community hospital almost 100 years ago.
